Will Patch 7.30e be the longest update in the game?

Patch 7.30e, released for Dota 2 on October 28, 2021, was the second-longest patch since Dota 2 Reborn, the game's transition to the Source 2 engine. At this point, only patch 7.27d lasted longer than that - it lasted 113 days, while 7.30e has been functioning for 91 days. It added a champion Marcy and reduced the experience gained for destroying small camps of neutral creeps by 10%.

Is there a bug with Kraken Shell or not?

A few days ago, user Nova6920 reported on the forum about a strange interaction between abilities - even with low health the target is not killed by Laser damage when using Kraken Shell. He thought it was a bug. However, commentators explained that the reason for this nuance is the peculiarities of the mechanics of recalculation of the current health at the time of changing its maximum level.

According to the specifics of the game, the Laser ability modifies the maximum health of the enemy - 10% if the target with Aghanim's Scepter is Aghanim's Scepter, and 0% without it. Due to this, when Kraken Shell is applied, there is a debuff removal and health level recalculation. Many players assume that Kraken Shell provides the ability to withstand different damage if the champion with this skill is under the influence of a debuff that decreases health.

As for the requirement to fix this feature, some gamers believe that it has little effect on the course of the game and, therefore, does not require changes.

The first season of DPC 2021/2022 is over - where do the teams stand?

The group stage of the first season of Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 has already ended, and the distribution of points among the 29 participating teams has become known.

At this stage, there are six winners from different regions, each with 300 points. These teams are BOOM Esports, Quincy Crew, Team Spirit, PSG.LGD, Thunder Predator and Team Liquid. Also three teams from each region are candidates to qualify to TOP-12 and get the invitation to The International 2022 tournament. The current situation is stipulated by the equal amount of points scored by the teams, but after the regional finals, the position of the participants will change.

It should also be noted that the team King Of Kings received a penalty - the reason for this was the fact that after the start of the season a new offleiner was hired.

The DPC 2021/2022 Regional Finals will be played in South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia from February 11-13. And from February 18-20, matches will be played in the CIS, North America, and China. The prize fund for each tournament is $100,000. In addition, the top 2 teams from each region will receive a certain amount of DPC points.
