Counter-Strike: Global Offensive: What did Valve bring gamers at the beginning of fall 2021?

The beginning of the fall season coincided not only with the arrival of cold weather, but also with the release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive computer game updates, which were presented by the Valve company. They will allow players to improve their skills and defense even during the hottest fights.

Riptide: New operation for advanced combat

Of particular note is the new operation "Raptide". Players now have the opportunity to wrestle with opponents on several modified maps - one of the updated polygon is Dust2, which has long been popular with newcomers and experienced gamers.

Thanks to the efforts of the developers of the famous arena Dust2 no longer has a firing position on the point of emergence. Because of this, players are deprived of the opportunity to immediately begin the attack the opponent and shoot the gate in the center, complicating the lives of opponents./p>

At the same time, Valve added to the shooter a feature that allows you at any time to throw the right amount of grenades and share them with teammates. In addition, players have at their disposal appeared police shield, with which you can cover not only themselves but also their colleagues - it is available for special forces, acting in battles on maps where the task is to free the hostages.

In the new CS:GO operation Riptide; changes have affected not only the functionality, but also the duration of battles. Players can now take part in short competitive 5x5 matches in which the battle lasts up to 9 victories - usually taking about 25 minutes. Riptide has allowed Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to be at number one in the Steam chart, ahead of Deathloop, New World, Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator and other equally popular PC games.
